After graduating from the Connecticut School of Electronics, Schaffner first worked as a senior electronic technician at National Semiconductor, then later as a service manager at Wittmann Battenfeld USA. For the past 20 years Schaffner has gained a lot of valuable experience in the fields of sales management and business development, which he will bring into his new role at HAHN Plastics Automation. He reports to Markus Klaus, President of HAHN Plastics Automation and works closely with him as a team.

Since starting operations in Connecticut in late 2018, HAHN Plastics Automation, Inc. has grown rapidly serving the plastics automation industry’s downstream automation needs. HAHN Plastics Automation manufactures customized equipment in the Windsor, Connecticut facility and represents three HAHN Group companies in the USA and Mexico: GeKu, Waldorf Technik, and WEMO, which are all active in the development of automation and robotics solutions for the plastics and injection molding industry.
