WEMO Mexico and its newly established Connecticut, USA-based parent company, HAHN Plastics Automation Inc., will exhibit at the upcoming Plastimagen show in Mexico City, April 2-5, 2019.

Based in Queretaro, WEMO Mexico is focused on plastics automation and features a strong sales and service network. The company is led by Eduardo Grijalva. Eduardo will be at the company’s Stand 759 at Plastimagen along with Markus Klaus, General Manager of HAHN Plastics Automation Inc. (USA).

Avon, CT (January 17, 2019) . . . A new company focused on plastics automation has opened its doors in the USA and will exhibit for the first time in North America at PLASTEC West in Anaheim, February 5-7.

HAHN Plastics Automation Inc. is based in CT and is the newly-established USA division of HAHN Group of Rheinbollen, Germany.  The company is led by Markus Klaus, who has more than 20 years of experience in the plastics industry. He was most recently the injection molding division manager for Wittmann Battenfeld Inc. in Torrington, CT.

HAHN Plastics Automation Inc. represents three European robotics and automation suppliers:

“Our new company will be a manufacturing plant for GeKu and Waldorf Technik products in the USA,” said Markus Klaus.  “In addition, we will import, stock, integrate and distribute products from Wemo.”

Klaus noted that Wemo robots have been distributed and supported in the USA for several years by Robot Automation Systems (RAS) of Waunakee, Wisconsin, and that relationship will continue.  “We look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with RAS,” he said.  “They have done an excellent job for Wemo and add valuable engineering and automation expertise to every application.”

In order to better serve the US market, the HAHN Group founded HAHN Plastics Automation, Inc. in 2018. HAHN Plastics Automation opens the new manufacturing plant in Connecticut, USA beginning of 2019. The location of the plant is in close proximity to the Bradley International Airport.
